The Work Formation Model
The Work Formation model is divided in three stages
Phase 1. Ecological Club
In general, maintenance work, gardening, and care of animals facilitates the boys’ discovery through activity in the possible work that they may participate in where they live, with a high level of play and attention towards the natural conducts of children.
The age limit is between 12 and 13 years old.
Phase 2. Development of general transferable skills
Through enablement, Ipoderac seeks to train the boys in areas of work that will be useful in their lives. This enablement is given in the formally productive areas of Ipoderac.
This is for those between 13 and 16 years old.
Phase 3. Planning of Independent Life
The end result of this stage is the boy’s exploration of his own interests and vocational aptitudes, allowing him a choice of profession, planning the way for development and starting to live an independent life.
